Eric Hooker

Eric Hooker is a retired law enforcement professional with three decades of progressive leadership experience with the Long Beach Police Department. Rising through the ranks to Lieutenant, he has overseen specialized assignments including Internal Affairs, Vice Field Investigations, Background Investigations, Basic Academy Training, and the Special Victims Section. His leadership roles in Patrol, Detective Division, and the Training Division reflect a broad foundation in operational management, personnel oversight, investigative supervision, and policy implementation and review.

Mr. Hooker’s investigative excellence has been recognized through multiple commendations, including two “Centurion Awards” from the Police Officer Association of Los Angeles County for Excellence in Investigations and the California Alcoholic Beverage Control “Achievement Award” for outstanding investigative work. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and an Associate of Arts in Law Enforcement from Cerritos College. He is a California Private Investigator/Qualified Manager (PI #190032).
