Jeff Liberman
Jeff Liberman, is a retired 31 year law enforcement leader who was responsible for leading Long Beach Police Department’s South Patrol Division. He also oversaw the Security Services Division which provides contract police services for the Long Beach Police Department. He managed law enforcement operations for the Long Beach Airport, Long Beach Transit, the Metro Blue Line, Long Beach City College, Marine Patrol, and Park Rangers.
Mr. Liberman’s diverse experience includes being a member of the City of Long Beach’s All Hazards Incident Management Team, leading a community college law enforcement section and port security unit, and supervising a multi-agency intelligence unit at the Los Angeles Joint Regional Intelligence Center (JRIC). As a Police Detective, he investigated crimes against persons and robbery. Mr. Liberman studied counter terrorism in Israel with the Israeli National Police, represented the Los Angeles metropolitan law enforcement agencies in the Department of Homeland Security’s National Operation Center, and travelled extensively internationally and domestically to study best practices in policing. He holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and Bachelors Degree in Criminology from California State University, Fresno. Mr. Liberman is a licensed California Private Investigator/Qualified Manager (#PI189267) and has provided training for law enforcement, government, and corporate officials in threat detection, analysis, and contingency planning. He is also a lifelong student and teacher of personal safety and self-defense.
