Thomas Fischbacher started his law enforcement career in Los Angeles County with the South Pasadena Police Department. He subsequently made a move to the Newport Beach Police Department where he spent 31 years. Mr. Fischbacher worked a variety of assignments in Patrol, Detective, Traffic Divisions, and the Office of the Chief of Police. These assignments included Field Training Officer, Property Crimes and Crimes Against Persons Detective, Special Events Supervisor, Airborne Law Enforcement Supervisor, Area Commander, Jail Manager, SWAT and CNT Commander, Media Relations, Professional Standards Manager and Chief’s Executive Officer. Mr. Fischbacher honorably retired as a Lieutenant from the Newport Beach Police Department.

Mr. Fischbacher has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Irvine in Social Ecology and a minor in Political Science. He is also a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute and the FBI National Academy, Class #262. Mr. Fischbacher is a licensed California Private Investigator/ Qualified Manager, Lic. #189437.
